Start with a beat up wooden cigar box to thin for a flush mount socket. Add a freewheel from the throw away bucket at the bike shop... well, because I love bikes and it looks cool. Plus any way to keep good looking parts from ending up in a landfill is a plus in my book. (Seriously.... I wrote a book about it!) It has a modern bakelite style socket and a matching rotary switch. The cord is 6 feet long so you shouldn't have any trouble reaching an outlet. Comes with a Edison style LED light bulb.
