Recently someone mistook one of my earring hangers as a lamp, and I thought "Why not both?" I was working on making an earring hanger out of a bicycle sprocket and disc brake and to be perfectly honest was struggling and decided to put it away for the night. In the morning when I started on it again, I realized that this would be a perfect candidate for an earring hanger AND lamp. I'd just been to the thrift store looking for silver sugar bowl for a custom order, and couldn't pass up that pork pie hat looking strainer, so I had just the thing for a lamp shade. It stands about 2 feet tall, and should hold somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 pairs of earrings. (The more cool earrings you hang on it, the better the lamp looks!) For $85 you can bring this home and start hanging your own earrings on it.
