I have a penchant for (some might say an 'obsession' with) finding and collecting things that most people would consider trash: motorcycle and bike parts, old metal and wooden boxes, gears, gauges, broken machinery. I take those things and turn them into lamps or coat racks, bicycles or books, artwork or any number of home furnishings. For years I focused on just one thing. I'd build bikes, or motorcycles, or instruments. The problem is, I get bored working on just one thing. Part of my goal is to give up on labels like "luthier" or "writer" and just create what I'm inspired to create, whether that looks like a lamp or a bus transfer fortune.
I've been on the move a lot over the last few years, so my workspace has been in a constant state of flux. Currently I'm working out an attic laboratory that doubles as the "world's most dangerous guest room." Items for sale can be found in the laboratory storefront. I'll also be sharing other projects that aren't necessarily for sale, but that I think you might find interesting in the lab notes section.
