I ran across these really cool gears recently and made a bunch of different earrings with them. These ones have 3 nails that have been smashed on railroad tracks hanging from them. They come with closing stainless steel hooks so they won't fall out of your ears, even if your lobes are stretched. They're about 5 inches long with the hook.
